Misery may be contagious — but so is joy. How we will decide to see and respond to everything happening to us and around us is controllable. For example someone could say, “I have to go to school, it’s so boring.†Or “I’m going to school yes, but I am investing in myself and my knowledge. I’m learning and gaining knowledge that my be useful one day for me.†There are always 2 or more ways to look at things. Nothing is good or bad or wrong or right; it’s just what is, and we can choose to make it mean whatever we make it mean; joyful or miserable moments. It’s we who decide what it appears to be. So we perceive and label things as being pleasant or unpleasant fun or boring according to our attitude and how we respond to what’s happening to us in the moment or what it looked like in the past. What will you choose?
