Your energy doesn’t run out — it gets blocked. Find ways to free your flow. We all run into funks, or lulls or ruts. Whatever you want to call, it happens to all of us. People comment a lot on how much energy I always have and ask me how I do it. I think a lot of it starts with making sure all of my needs are met. When we eat healthy, get enough rest and have balance; that is when we have the most energy. It’s hard to have energy when our needs are not getting met. I know I talk about this a lot, but it is so important. Most women have a hard time with this. Men, not so much. They have a need, and they fill it. If they’re hungry, they eat! Women, they wait until the last possible moment after doing everything else first. Right? We need to give ourselves permission to take care of ourselves first. Start paying attention to what you need and acting on it immediately instead of saying, “Right after I do this”. Eliminate “Some day I’ll do that” from your vocabulary and in the moment write whatever it is (a vacation, a massage, exercise, a facial, a bath, etc) in your calendar. YOU ARE WORTHY. Freedom will appear when you start taking care of your needs and all those around you will benefit from you taking care of yourself.
