See your mistakes not as personal flaws, but as the source of your most valuable life lessons. Don’t let fear of the unknown future take over and stop you from doing anything. If you have a dream, go for it! So what if you don’t know how your going to do it. Learn as you go. Make mistakes, and keep moving forward. Sometimes, what we think is a mistake can end up being the one thing that we do differently from our competitors, and with a little thought and perserverence, we can turn it into a huge advantage!
When we started Quizno’s, we had no idea how to go about running a huge food chain. We asked lots of questions, hired people who knew what they were doing, and tweaked things that weren’t woking. When I started my real estate investment company, I wasn’t sure what I was doing. I read books, went to seminars, and found mentors. Before I knew it, I was the one giving advice.
